2	Mother Teresa Mother Teresa’s real name is Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu. Mother Teresa was born on August 26, 1910, in Skopje, Albania. She was the youngest of three children. She has an older sister and brother.
3	Her Family Mother Teresa’s family was an ordinary, happy family. Her father owned his own company. He was full of life and very busy in politics. When Agnes was nine, her father died. Her mother was very strict, but kind.
4	Her Work Mother Teresa worked most of her life in Calcutta, India. There she founded the Missionary of Charity. She dedicated her life to helping the poorest of the poor. She won the Nobel Peace Prize on December 11,1979.

6	About the Author This book was written by Susan Ullstein. She also wrote a book about Martin Luther King, Jr.
