Why Clouds Rain

Long, long ago when the Earth was young, a cloud got lost. His name is Cirrus. He cried all the time. "Why are you crying?" Whispered the wind. "I am crying because I’m lost!" responded the baby cloud. Wind flew over to Thunder. Thunder! "We need your help! Will you tell us where his mother is?" asked wind. "She was with Lightning," Thunder said still sobbing,

Cirrus went on. They ran into lightning, he was exercising with sun.

"Quick! Lightning, will you tell us where Cirrus’s mother is?"

Yelled wind. "She went that way," sun answered while pointing east.

Still crying, Cirrus went on.

They ran into a small group of clouds. The clouds turned around.

"Mama! Papa!" Cirrus yelled. Cirrus stopped crying. Cirrus hugged and kissed his family. "Thank you very much for finding him. I was worried sick!" said his mother.

And that is why we have rain.

How Rain Began

Long, long ago in Olympia there was a goddess named Lila and she had a beautiful daughter named Shyanne. When Shyanne was little she was very, very loud. Lila’s brother Phil was very annoyed by Shyanne’s loudness. On the night of Shyanne’s 16th birthday Phil decided to kidnap Shyanne until her 25th birthday. Until then he would teach her to be quiet. That night he went to Shyanne’s sleeping quarters. He took the sleeping Shyanne to a secret hideout where he would keep her.

The next day Lila tried to find Shyanne, but she could not find her. She went to Zeus and asked him if he knew where she was. He said that he did not know where she was. So Lila made a search party. Nobody could find her. Then Lila asked where Phil was. Once again nobody knew where he was. So she went back to her chambers where she cried and cried and cried. She cried so much that the clouds below her started turning grey and swelling up. Then the clouds could not hold the tears anymore. They just started letting the tears out where it rained on earth. That is how we got rain.

How Thunder Came To Be

Long ago when the sky was blue darkness came upon the sky. Dark clouds came over the white clouds and the sun was. One day it started to rain because the clouds were crying of sadness. Some of the clouds got mad at the others that the clouds turned gray. This was not a wonderful day.The animals went to their homes. The sun was going to blow the clouds away with a hair dryer, but the sun shocked itself and the shock went all the way to the Earth. And he kept doing that. Then everybody heard a BOOM!The sun said "The boom was next to the moon."The sun went to the moon and saw the craters going bowling. After the sun saw the craters bowl for a little while, the sun got an a idea. The sun went back to Earth and stopped all the fighting and crying. And the gray clouds turned white and the sun came out

TORNADO

Oh F-5 you are mean when you pick up cars and houses throwing them around.

F-5 Mr. speed, fast and destroying with a crashing sound.

Tornados are very deadly and powerful storms.

That cause harm to many different forms.

When the F-5 starts coming your way.

Be sure that you hide away and stay.

For the best place is beneath the ground in

a cellar.

Have plenty of batteries powered flashlights, radios,

Imperishable food, water and first aid kits to

Survive this mighty fellow.

’Tornado ‘’

Tornado! Tornado! I’m scared; the scariest one is the F-5.

It can flip cars and mess up yards.

The weather man says there will be a tornado today.

But that is not fair fair the tornado does not care he still will flip cars and mess up yards.

But still I need to put a stop to this tornado F-5.

Because we need to put a stop to this now.

That is all that is all about the tornado F-5.

Or the tornado F5 will hit, will hit, he’ll hit some more.

Tornado and twister are the same they’re big, green and they scary. And when they take my house it gets really big and green. I’m scared of tornados you will be really scared.

Oh tornado oh tornado why do I hate you so much oh I now why because you take my house!.

Tornado you were here two times and you were the f-5 and you didn’t care for taking my house.

F-5 is the big one! So don’t go outside. When it rains and the sky gets green don’t go outside. If you go outside you will be scared.

An f-5 will warn you to don’t go outside

And you might die and I will be really sad.

Tornado! Tornado! Bye, bye, bye.

Tornado

Tornado! Tornado! Where have you been?

I looked for you in the sink

Tornado you lost my burrito you naughty little thing

Tornado go play not too far

In Tornado Alley what do you say?

Tornado do not get into trouble if you do I’ll double my strength.

Tornado what did you do while you were away?

I hope I do not hear complaints, cause if I do

I will spank you away

Tornado! Tornado! What did you do to my garden?

Now I am going to double my strength and spank

you away.

Twister

Twister! Twister! They are so loud.

When they are started they make a

 funnel cloud.

I really wish they weren’t even

there.

I also wish they weren’t any where.

Twisters shouldn’t be real

I’m really glad they aren’t even steal.

How We Got Rain

Long, long ago there were some clouds and a sun. The clouds got mad at the sun because it made bright light. The sun started crying because he was sad. He was sad because he shone too bright to play with the clouds. The sun had a plan to let the clouds make droplets of water sometimes. The plan was to let the sun squeeze the clouds because they were spongy and absorbed the suns tears. The clouds would let the tears fall some days on our Earth. Now that the sun had water on him it made him not so bright, and the clouds let the sun play with them. That is how we got rain and how the sun and the clouds became friends.
