Arrival/Dismissal

 The school building opens at 7:15 A.M., for those students eating breakfast.    Please do not drop your child off before this time as there are no adults to watch your child.  Students are to report to the cafeteria upon arrival.  No students are allowed in the hallways before 7:55 A.M.  This is a safety issue.

 School is dismissed at 3:00 P.M.  Your child should be picked up no later than 3:15 P.M.  The teachers and administration are not responsible for the supervision of students after 3:15 P.M.  If you know you will be later than this, please call the school.  The proper authorities will be contacted for those students who are not picked up by 4:00 P.M. or whose rides are chronically late.  If you are late picking up your child, you will be required to come into the building and sign the sign out log.

Early Departure

 Should you need to take your child out of school early, you will need to go to the office to check him/her out.  Only the parent who has signed the enrollment card or someone with a written authorization from that person will be allowed to take a child from school during regular school hours.  Teachers are not permitted to release students unless this procedure has been followed.   Notify your child’s teacher in advance concerning your child’s early departure.  Note: Appointments need to be scheduled during non-school hours in order to maximize your child’s learning time.
