Bus
Information
Riding a bus
is a privilege that may be enjoyed as long as rules
and regulations are followed. Bus transportation is
provided only for students on a magnet transfer and
who live outside a two mile radius. Listed below are
the bus rules followed by all Sinclair students.
Respect the bus driver. Be courteous and polite at
all times.
Do
not hang any part of the body out of the bus window.
Do not throw
anything out of the bus windows.
Talk quietly when the bus is in motion.
Stay in seats
and do not stand up in the aisle or in seats.
Wear a seat
belt when the bus is equipped with them.
The bus
driver is responsible for the safety on the bus and
will not tolerate nay misbehavior. Students who
misbehave are to be reported to the coordinator or
principal who will discipline students according to
the following policies:

First Offense
Student is given adequate warning. Parent is
informed in writing or by telephone that the child is
not cooperating.

Second
Offense A
two or three day suspension from the bus.
·
Third
Offense
A five to
seven day suspension from riding the bus.
·
Fourth
Offense
Exclusion
from riding the bus for the remainder of the semester.
Parents will
be kept informed in writing and/or by telephone
concerning each offense. Students suspended from the
bus must provide their own transportation.
