Uniform
Dress Codes
are implemented to promote school safety and to ensure
that the number of distractions is minimal. Please
assist us with the implementation and adherence to
this important policy.
BOTTOMS:
Standard
Uniform Pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers
·
Colors in standard uniform Navy Blue or
Khaki
·
Must be worn at waist level
·
No more than four inches above the
middle of the knee as judged by school staff
·
All uniform bottoms must be hemmed
·
Uniform bottoms that have belt loops
must also have BELTS
·
NO JEANS
TOPS:
All
tops must be short or long sleeved uniform polo type
shirts in red, white or navy blue
·
Sinclair t-shirts (blue and special
event) may be worn on Friday’s only.
·
Blue Sinclair t-shirts are mandatory
for ALL FIELD TRIPS
·
Solid color red, white or navy blue long
sleeved t-shirts may be worn under the polo shirts
·
NO SWEAT SHIRTS.
UNIFORM SWEATERS ONLY in red, white or navy
blue.
SHOES:
·
Safe shoes must be worn at all times and
must be appropriate for all school activities.
·
NO SANDALS, OPEN TOED OR BACKLESS SHOES.
NO TENNIS SHOES WITH SKATES ARE ALLOWED.
JEWELRY:
·
Alarm and game watches are prohibited
·
Large or long (dangling) earrings may
not be worn
·
Pocket chains may not be brought to
school. They
are unsafe and can be used as a weapon.
MAKE-UP:
·
Make-up or nail polish may not be worn
or carried on campus
·
Make-up for school performances may be
allowed with permission from the principal.
HAIR:
·
Color or style may not be disruptive to
the educational process.
NEW
STUDENTS:
·
Students who come to Sinclair after the
school year has started will have two weeks to be in
compliance with dress code requirements.
