
History of Sinclair

Thomas Albert Sinclair Elementary School, named after the first
doctor in Houston Heights, is located on eight acres of land
covered with pine trees on the edge of the Historic Heights
District. The attendance zone is made up of families in the
Timbergrove and Lazybrook subdivisions. The Sparks Park, complete
with an outdoor education center and the additional donations of
outdoor equipment by the PTA, affords 520 students in the K-5th
grades with a scenic, safe place to play and learn.
