Shared Decison Making Committee

The Shared Decision-Making Committee is composed of 10 voting members consisting of two classroom teachers, one school-based staff member, one non-instructional staff member, two parents, two community members, one business representative, and the principal. Each member will serve a staggered two-year term. 

There are six sub-committees: Curriculum, Staff Development, Budgeting, Staffing, Student Relations, and Parent Relations. Each committee is responsible for monitoring its portion of the School Improvement Plan. Each sub-committee chairperson meets with the principal quarterly. Ad hoc committees are formed by the SDMC, as needed. Decisions are made by consensus of the membership. Copies of SDMC agendas and minutes of SDMC meetings in English and Spanish are posted in the cafetorium.
