Students With Academic Greatness
Students With Academic Greatness, developed at Thompson Elementary by Mrs. S. Alexander, is a pioneering inclusion leadership initiative. Student participating in the program were selected based on data-driven criteria. The purpose is to give exceptionally-motivated students the opportunity to participate in a program that will not only assist in developing their leadership skills, but also provide an environment that will positively affect their personal, educational, and social skills and ultimately create a positive change in their community.

Got a Sick Child?
Reporting Absences by E-mail
If you wish to send us your child's absence excuse by e-mail, you may do so by clicking on the Get Well Soon Logo above. In order for the absence to be properly excused, please include the following information:
- Your child's name
- Your child's teacher
- The date/dates of the absence
- The reason for the absence, i.e. illness, appointment, family emergency, etc.)
- Your name and relationship to the child
- A phone number where you can be reached during school hours.
We hope this link will be a way to make things easier for you to communicate with Thompson Elementary School in regard to your child's attendance.
