Below you will find instructions on
how to set up Junk E-mail in Outlook. You can add unsolicited email
to your Junk Sender's list so that it never appears in your Inbox
again.
If you receive unsolicited email, you need
to set up Junk E-Mail in order to avoid receiving the same unwanted
email over and over.
Follow these steps to set up Junk E-Mail
in Outlook.
Open Outlook. Look at the toolbar under
the menu items.
You will see an icon that looks like some
squares falling into place to form a larger square.
This is the Organize
icon.
Click once on the icon. You will see a
window like the one below.
Click on the Junk E-Mail tab on the left.
Click on the drop-down menus in each
sentence to make them read the same as the sentences in the picture
above.
Then click the "Turn on" button for each
sentence.
Finally, click on the X in the top right
hand corner of the Organize window to close it.
Now, whenever you receive a message from a
sender that you want to block, simply right-click on the message
(before opening it) and click:
Junk E-Mail > Add to Junk Senders List.
That sender will be blocked from your
Inbox. Every message sent from that sender will automatically go to
your Deleted Items box.
