I am Gretchen Silva and I am the School Librarian. I worked for three years as a Children’s Librarian in a public library before moving to Valley West. I taught Kindergarten for two years before returning to the library. I love to read and still enjoy reading all kinds of children’s and young adult fiction. My goal is to read to all of the students as much as I can, to introduce great authors, and to teach them to use the library independently.
Students must have turned in any overdue books prior to checking out new books. Remember that you are checking out school property, please take care of the books. TRY TO READ 30 MINUTES A DAY
