Heidi Mao

I am Heidy Mao.
I am certified in Montessori Program and ESL Early Childhood Education. I
have been teaching Pre-Kindergarten for 24 years, twelve years at a
Montessori private school and nine years at Valley West Elementary School.
I speak, read and write both Chinese and English. My special focus is
teaching our children to be independent learners. I accomplish this by
emphasizing that doing your best is the first step in starting a task. My
philosophy of education is that all children can learn. My motto is:
you must try then you will know. |
Stephanie Stephens

I am a part of the
Kindergarten teaching team at Valley West Elementary School.
I
absolutely love teaching and inspiring students to do their best. I know
this is a new and exciting time for you and your child I will do everything
I can to make this a positive experience for your child so they can develop
a love for learning. Every child in my class can and will succeed.
Failure
is not an option and Success is mandatory!!
Every week your
Kindergartner can expect to have homework in the following areas: Spelling,
Reading, and math. I am also going to require that you read to and with your
child on a daily basis in order to expose them to various conventions of
print. |
