Cynthia Goodman

Graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Business Communications and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Instructional Design. I am currently the Second Grade Math teacher with 10 years experience in the classroom.

I encourage and support working with manipulatives in the Math classroom for concrete learning of problem solving objectives, critical thinking and basic math concepts.

Graduate of the University of Houston in Business and Marketing. Obtain a Certification in Bilingual Education through the HISD Alternative Education Program. I am a firmly believer in the Bilingual Education since I was educated in a bilingual school. I always set high expectations for my students and they achieve outstanding performance.

Graduate of the University of Houston in Education, I entered the teaching profession to encourage, inspire and to motivate students to reach the best of their potentials. My goal as an educator is to make everyday in the classroom meaningful. My role is to not only provide knowledge for my students, but to also be a lifelong student myself.
