Valerie Perez, second grade, received the Gold Medal Best of Show Award in the January 11th Houston Livestock and Rodeo Art Show, Elem. Division, for Houston ISD. Only two Best of Show awards are given in the elementary division for HISD, grades K-6. Valerie's art will be on display at the rodeo during March. On March 8th, Valerie will be honored for her work during the awards ceremonies at Reliant Arena.
