Our Goals

• Increase parental involvement via family nights, PTA meetings, and adult education classes by 5%.
• Teach for understanding and academic need in order to meet promotion standards thereby increasing TAKS test scores by 8% each year to attain exemplary status by 2009.
• Implement new education programs:
  Arts
  Physical Education
  Community Service
• Model and teach Social Skills consistently throughout the school in order to decrease the number of discipline referrals by 5% each year.
• Improve communication between the administration and the staff.
• Increase attendance to 98%.
• Incorporate continuous assessment and reinforcement of TEKS/TAKS objectives through diagnosis and remediation.
• Increase opportunities for collaboration across grade levels and content areas.
• Increase collaboration with community and business partners.
