You can use this option if you regularly send messages to a group of people.

 

1.     Choose Address Book.
 2. Choose New Entry.        

3.     Choose New Distribution List from the entry type list and choose OK.

4.     Type in a name for the list.

5.     Choose Add/Remove Members to add users to your list.

Choose members from the Global Address list and choose OK when finished.

 

 

7.     The new distribution list now appears in your contacts book.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. To add everyone at West University, click find and type West U in the office box. Click OK. Select the whole box by holding down the shift key and clicking the first and last entry. Click ok.

1.     Type the personal distribution list name in To….

2.     Choose Check Names (if the name is recognized, Microsoft Outlook will underline it).

 

OR

1.     Choose To….

2.     Choose to Show Names from the Personal Address Book.

3.     Double-click on the distribution list you require.

 

1.      Open your Personal Distribution List and select which entry you wish to delete.

2.      Right click and choose delete.

 

You can send a note to someone outside the HISD mail system who has an Internet account.

 

1.     Open a new message.

2.     Choose To… at the top left of the note to address the message.

3.     In the address book window, select New.

4.     Select Internet Address in the New Entry dialog box and choose OK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 5.     In the Display Name box, enter the name of the addressee.

6.     Enter the full Internet address in the E-mail Address box.
