Portillo and all of their super volunteers for a wonderful program last Thursday evening. Due to scheduling conflicts, I rescheduled Principal for the Day. Tomorrow student Remy Kalai takes over as Principal at West U. I also misstated Remy’s grade level in last week’s column. Remy is a First Grade student.

• Second Place – Arch Bridges Sophia Li – Ms Teel, 3rd grade

Our Kindergarten-2nd Grade Name That Book Team competed at the finals this past Friday and after a round of sudden-death, were declared co-champs with the team from Horn Elementary! This is the first time a West U team has been first place in the Name That Book finals. Way to go!
