Prepare un mini museo de la elaboracin tradicional de mscaras africanas. Investigue los diferentes estilos de mscaras, cmo se hacen y qu significado tienen.
frica en el futuro
Cmo ser la vida en frica en el siglo 21? Organice una conferencia con oradores, comida africana y cobertura de prensa.

Theme: How do we Express Ourselves
Unit Title: Let the Presses Roll
Central Idea: People use a variety of written methods to convince people of what they believe.
Inquires into: Communication to an audience through interviewing, writing, drawing, surveying, graphing, editorializing, and using technology for research.

GT on-going projects:
Students will keep working on their Anthology.
Students will work on their T.V. Report for the Explorer project.

*Shoe box is needed for April 14,2008 for the Explorer Project.

We will be having a guest speaker for 5th grade gov unit on April 23 at 10:30am. Mr. Salinas, Professor of Law at TSU

Book: Lectura Scott Foresman 2.2 pages 40-63.
Language Arts: Vocabulary of the week:
