Assigned office administration and assigned personnel faculty and staff are on duty beginning at 7:30 a.m. Therefore, it is unsafe for students to arrive on campus before 7:30 a.m. Parents/guardians will be notified when their child arrives before 7:30 a.m. Students arriving by car are dropped off along the circle drive (on the north side of the school). Due to safety reasons, students are to enter the school only through the Yupon Street entrance or on the circle drive entrance. Parents and/or students attempting to enter through the Windsor entrance (faculty parking area), will be asked by the school staff to go around to the north side of the school. This policy is for the safety of all children. Early arrivals must wait in the cafeteria and not in the hallways. During inclement weather, Pre-K through Second Grade students will remain in the cafeteria. Third through Sixth Grade students will remain in the auditorium.

There are three dismissal times, regular students at 3:30 p.m., after-school magnet students at  4:30 p.m., and extended day students at 5:30pm.

At 3:30 p.m., teachers will dismiss students to specific locations around the school depending on their means of transportation:

Car riders (1st-6th grades only): Teachers will escort them to the Pavilion/Circle drive area (north side of the school) for parents or guardians to pick up their children outside.

Walkers (and EC car riders): Teachers will escort all walkers and EC children to the front entrance of the school. For your child's safety, parents of  EC (Early Childhood) children are required to park their car and walk up to the front steps of the school to meet your child's teacher.)

For the safety of the children, no child should exit through the staff parking lot for pickup after school.

If it is raining at 3:30 p.m. (dismissal time) students will remain in their classrooms to be picked up by their parents or guardians.
