Japan Website		School Programs Perfect Attendance \| Washington Mutual \| Book It! \| VIPS *top* *Kate Bell Perfect Attendance Incentive Program* WELCOME BACK KATE BELL COUGARS! This year until the end of May we are going to be giving away weekly prizes for perfect attendance. YES YOU CAN BE A WINNER! Once a week we will be awarding a student who has come to school every day and on time. Each class will receive a class award and a ribbon to be posted on their outside door each week. *top* *Kate Bell and Washington Mutual* Kate Bell Elementary and Washington Mutual have teamed up to bring your child the School Savings Program. Your child can participate in the School Savings Program and open an account of his or her own. There are no fees for participating in School Savings. Your child can make deposits or withdrawals at any Washington Mutual financial center. And each week, students have the opportunity to bring their deposits – as little as .25cents – to Bank Day. *top* Book It Program Students in grades K - 5 can earn coupons for free personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut. Our school is participating in the "BOOK IT" reading incentive program. The program runs from October through March. Please see your child's teacher for details or you may contact Mrs. Wicks, Title 1 coordinator, at swicks@houstonisd.org. *top* *Volunteers In Public Schools (VIPS)* Parents who want to volunteers in the school or go on Field Trips need to have a background check. This can be done on the internet at VIPS Login. Bring a copy of your ID or Drivers Licenses to the school office for them to make a copy.
