New School
Method for Visitors and Students
Our
school has implemented a new system for visitors and students. It
requires that you show identification the first time, after that just
mention that you are in our system and the purpose of your visit,
that’s it!
For students coming late, please go to the front office by the nurse
hallway to get late pass, if a child has an excuse for being late it
will be an excused tardy if not, it will be an unexcused tardy.

Shoes are
Meant for Walking
Parents our school guidelines in regards to shoes are, enclosed rubber
shoes tennis shoes. No Roller Skates Shoes. No
Heels. No Sandals. Students not in compliance
will stay in the office until their parent is notified and brings a
pair of tennis shoes. For your own child safety, please follow these
rules. Thank you for your support.

Faculty Parking
Lot
The faculty parking lot is
reserved for staff parking and as a drop-off spot for HISD buses
only. Parents should not drop off or pick up students in the
parking lot. There is a separate area in front of the school where
daycare buses may drop off and pick up students.

Dismissal
Time
Parents: We are asking that you not to let your children play in the
playground before 3:30. By this time children that have not been
picked up will come inside, and you can take your own children to
play, since this is a liability issue we need your cooperation.
There should be no children in the playground before 3:30 p.m.
Please do
not walk your child through the faculty parking lot. Please allow them
to take the sidewalk to the front entrance of the school.
Students
who are being picked up by parents in the afternoon must wait in front
of the school. Students are not to wait on Ravensworth for their
rides. We are only able to supervise them if they are in front of the
school.

Parent Drop off
We need your
cooperation! We have seen an increased number of cars dropping off
students inside on the bus and staff parking lot. Please follow the
rules and drop students on Shaftsbury or Ravensworth only. Thank you
for your cooperation on this matter.

Breakfast
The school hours are 7:55 a.m. until 3:00
p.m. Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and only those students who are
eating breakfast at school should be brought at that time. There is no
supervision inside the building for students. All children should
stay outside until 7:30 or until someone direct them to come in.
Students who are not eating breakfast should arrive at school no
earlier than 7:45 a.m. Students should be picked up promptly at 3:00
p.m. There is no after school supervision for students.
