Cage Elementary is a school-wide Title 1 school that is part of the Houston Independent School District (HISD), which promotes success and excellent achievement in its students. It is located in the East side of Houston. HISD is the largest public school system in Texas and the seventh largest in the United States.
We are extremely excited to welcome our students back for a new school year. Classes for students will begin on Monday, August 23rd. Remember that this year we have a new start and dismissal time. Classes will start at 7:30 a.m. and dismissal will take place at 3:00 p.m. Please read the new times below:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.
Class starts: 7:30 a.m.
Dismissal time: 3:00 p.m.
Early dismissal: 12:30 p.m.
No student should be dropped off prior to 7:00 a.m. since there is no supervision available.

Our Parent Student Connect Portal is now open to the world. Parents can now register to see their child's grades online from anywhere there is an internet connection.
