Creating A College Bound Culture

          As a former student of Gallegos Elementary it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to convey college  awareness to my students. Recalling my days here at Gallegos Elementary, I never heard the words “College or University.”   Our students are now being upheld to a higher expectation and exposed to what they will find essential for a successful life.  
             By providing our students with the appropriate educational tools from an early age will instill in them the pride and value of a college education.  I am confident that our students will go to a university.
             Como estudiante egresado de la escuela primaria Gallegos es un gran privilegio el tener la oportunidad de transmitir el conocimiento universitario  a mis estudiantes. Recordando mis días aquí en la escuela  primaria Gallegos, yo nunca escuché las palabras " Colegio o Universidad". Nuestros estudiantes ahora son expuestos a expectativas mucho más altas y estó es esencial para que ellos tengan una vida exitosa.
              Brindando las herramientas educacionales apropiadas a nuestros estudiantes desde una temprana edad inculcará su  orgullo y valor de obtener una educación avanzada. Estoy segura que nuestros estudiantes asistirán a la universidad.
