French Dignataries Visit Kolter on Monday Jan 23, 2006
Bonjour! Comment allez-vous? Kolter Elementary’s third grade French class was recently visited by Patrick Berron, the French Consul General, and Joel Savary, the French Cultural Attache. Madame Claire Frazier, Kolter’s French teacher, and Mrs. Paula Kearney, Magnet Coordinator, showed the visitors Kolter’s language lab, art room, library, and flower and vegetable gardens. Mr. Berron and Mr. Savary were very impressed with the integration of language into the regular curriculum at Kolter. French is offered to kindergarten through fifth grade students at Kolter along with Japanese, Chinese and Spanish language classes. Kolter is a Magnet school located in Meyerland.
