Welcome to Lucian Lockhart Elementary School! We are especially excited about the 2007-2008 school year, and look forward to serving your children.

At Lockhart, we serve over four hundred-fifty students in the Central Region of Houston Independent School District. We are located close to downtown Houston, Texas Southern University, and the University of Houston.

The Lockhart Family is proud to be a 2006-2007 T.E.A Academically Recognized School. We are also a Math, Science, and Technology Magnet School and house an excellent fee for service Extended Day Program. Our mission is to meet the needs of every single child that attends Lockhart. We strive for nothing but the best for ALL students.
