The Scroggins Pumpkin-Literature Contest
is a classroom activity in which the
students collaborate to create a display that represents their
interpretation of a piece of literature. A pumpkin or pumpkins must be
used in the display. The book or story must adhere to the current year's
theme. The teacher and/or students may choose the book or story but most
or all of the students in the class must participate in the creation of
the display. This year the theme is: Fairy Tales and Folktales
