March of the Penguins

 The first grade students researched information about their penguin family to write a sentence and they illustrated the penguin in its habitat.

   

My name is Kyle. I am a macaroni penguin.

The macaroni penguins live in South America and Africa.

I am Monica. I am a King penguin. The male King penguin sits on the eggs.

 

 

 

My name is Nickole. I am a Gentoo penguin. The Gentoo penguins have orange beaks.

 

 

My name is Noah. I am a Royal penguin. Royal penguins eat fish.

 

 

My name is Raymond. I am a Royal penguin. Royal penguins are found in Australia.

 

 

 

 

Hi. I am an Adelie penguin. Adelie penguins have long tail feathers that drag on the ground.

 

My name is Kennedy. I am a Gentoo penguin. Both mother and father Gentoo penguins take care of the eggs.

 

My name is Christy. I am an Adelie penguin. Adelie penguins are the smallest of the penguins.

 

My name is Alan. I am an emperor penguin. Emperor penguins live in the coldest climate on Earth.

 

My name is Christian. I am a chinstrap penguin. There are more chinstrap penguins than any other penguins in the world.

 

 

My name is DeAsia. I am a king penguin. The king penguin is the second largest penguin.

 

My name is Irene. I am an African penguin. African penguins build their nests on beaches.

 

 

Hi. My name is John Michael. I am a rockhopper. Rockhopper penguins hop over rocks.

 

 

Hi. My name is Christopher. I am a penguin. Penguins do not fly.

 

 

 

My name is Ivan. I am a yellow-eyed penguin

The yellow-eyed penguin has yellow orange cat eyes.

 

 

Hi. My name is Justin. I am an emperor penguin. The emperor penguin is the biggest penguin.
