Community Partners:
St. Stephen's UMC & Farmers Insurance Group
The Lulu M. Stevens Family would like to welcome a new community partner: Farmers Insurance. Thanks to their generous donation from agent David Lorms, we are able to fund our attendance incentive program and TAKS Super Store. The TAKS Super Store is another incentive program designed to excite and motivate students to do their very best on the TAKS tests. Students redeem TAKS passing scores for Stallion Bucks, which can be used to purchase items in the TAKS Super Store. Again, thanks Farmers Insurance and Mr. Lorms.
Additionally, we are proud to have St. Stephen's UMC as a long standing Community Partner. St. Stephen's assiststs Lulu M. Stevens in several ways. Their congregation provides:
- Funds for uniforms for students who are in need
- Food during the holiday seasons for needy families
- Loving Listeners who sit with children as they read
- Staff appreciation functions – like ice cream socials
Our students and all community stakeholders are enriched by the generosity of our Community Partners. We are so very greatful for them.
