What is Dual Language?
The Wharton Elementary Dual
Language philosophy promotes both Spanish and English as
languages of equal value. We feel that by placing importance on
both languages we are not only preparing our students for the
multi-lingual, multicultural world we are living in, but they
are also learning the importance and value in respecting other
cultures in our increasingly global society.

Program, click here.

results stemming from it,

Help Us Earn Wamoola for
Wharton!
A smart, simple way to make a difference every day. With the
WaMoola for Schools® Program, you can support Wharton every time
you make a purchase with your Washington Mutual Debit MasterCard®.
Our partnership with Washington Mutual has enabled us to earn
$1,806.08 for 2008. In fact, we are still one of Wamu's Top 10 Schools
in Texas!
As of September 25, 2008, all WaMu customer deposits are now
deposits of JPMorgan Chase.
What’s changing? Beginning February 22, 2009, no new
enrollments will be accepted into the WaMoola for Schools program.
In addition, the Year-to-Date point totals for schools will be
updated on a quarterly basis beginning in mid-July of 2009.
What stays the same? As a WaMoola for Schools participant,
you will continue to earn points for your designated school when
you make purchases with your WaMu or Chase debit card. And, WaMu,
now backed by the strength of Chase, will make donations to
schools and organizations supporting education for points earned
throughout 2009.
