I want to thank everyone for an outstanding year. While reflecting on the year I am delighted with what we have achieved. I would like to emphasize that many of the development at Whittier Elementary have come about through teamwork, cooperation and open communication. I intend for these areas to be further developed next year.

We believe in developing the whole child, ensuring that students leave Whittier Elementary prepared for the challenges they may face when they go on. For this goal to be achieved, it is critical that we all work together to develop our students’ creative abilities. For this reason we are partnering with Young Audiences of Houston. They will provide monthly cultural fine arts programs for the students. In addition, we will be starting a Robotics Team as well as a Tennis and Golf Club.

Finally, I would like to say a big thank you to all of you for the support you continue to give Whittier Elementary.
